Maebara Yokosuka Beach
Maebara-Yokosuka Beach was selected as one of "Japan's 100 Most Beautiful Beaches". A gorgeous view stretches along the gently curving beach facing the glittering surface of the Pacific Ocean. Palm trees lining the shore bring to mind the atmosphere of a tropical island. The beach is open to the public for swimming during the summer months. Additionally, there is a 1 km long beach-side promenade called the "Shiosai Park". Stroll along the beach while enjoying the refreshing sea breeze and sounds of the waves.
